Rayzor Ranch is a mixed-use development totaling more than 1 million square feet of retail and office space. The Town Center is one component of a site masterplan, which includes single and multi-family residential buildings, a multi-screen cinema, hotel, outdoor amphitheater, community buildings, and multiple acres of dedicated greenspace. The design will create a new center of activity for the community. The intent is to create a place that will grow with the community, being familiar without being nostalgic. Familiar materials, native landscapes, and regional responses to climate are utilized in a new and thoughtful way. Transparent facades and a series of balconies, courtyards, and covered walkways attempt to closely link the buildings and its users to the landscape, and create a rich sense of public space throughout the project.
